Previous Witbank Marathons

Post by John Ashworth »

I've just found this picture of the FOTR team at a previous Witbank Marathon, a few years back.

Can anyone add the date and the photographer? And a few more photos from previous Witbank Marathons?

Why can a member of this forum not post a jpg picture under this topic, whether as a "New Topic" or as a "Reply"!
Accessablity or the lack therof, is driving me up the wall, literally!

Gabor, in theory you can. Click "New topic" or "Post reply" and there ought to be a section called "Add an attachment". Click "Browse" to find the picture on your computer, and click "Submit". If you want to attach more than one picture to the same post, click "Add attachment" for each one before clicking "Submit".

If it's not working, first check that your picture is not too big (800x600 pixels, maximum size 130k). If that doesn't work, then we need Kevin and Steve A to sort out the problem.

Gabor - there is a problem - thanks for bringing it up.

Just what it is at the moment we do not know, but are working on it!

Hi Guys!

Thanks for the pointers, but I think I have come across the problem from my end - whihc is; if I click on the phrase just below the text window, on the left hand side, "Allowable Extentions and Size"
the following appears;

"
Plain Text -> Maximum Upload Size: 2 MB
c cpp diz h hpp
"

None of the above are std. image file extextions.
I don't think there is no allowances made for attachment size/s!

Cheers

Gabor, that's very interesting. I'm not sure how I managed to upload a jpg file in the first place. Something for Kevin and Steve A to ponder over.

And it's twice the permitted size for pictures, so the test must have worked very well indeed! A bit like testing a boiler to 1.5 times its normal working pressure so that a safety margin is built in?!

Steve and John - at the end of the day you have administrator status - you must test with a user (ordinary).

I did this and I cannot load. What Gabor has picked up relates to the issue I mentioned in the other thread.

Will phone you Steve.

Gabor hang in!
