Jacaranda pair

Post by Chris Janisch »

A first and highly historic occasion on Saturday 7 November, saw 2650 and 3117 doubleheading to Cullinan. The occasion which demanded this was the minting of a special coin featuring 19D 2650- thus her presence was requested. However, the train was too long for her, consisting of all available stock, and so 3117's assistance was called for. Glorious sunshine greeted the photographers after the dismal start to the day- and it shone all the way home.

Vey nice. Looks like the F was sleeping coming out of Cullinan, by the limp smoke out the stack!
