Tanzania suspends Dar es Salaam passenger services

Termination Of Service To The Mainland Passenger Train
Leading Tanzania Railway Company (TRL) has announced the suspension of train service to passengers from Dar es Salaam to the mainland from May 18, until further notice. The decision was taken after the occurrence of damage to the infrastructure of the railway station between the Ruvu and Ruvu junction caused by heavy rains.
