TransNamib Rails First Shipment Of Northern Cape Manganese From Ariamsvlei To Lüderitz
A milestone has been achieved with TransNamib moving the first shipment of Northern Cape manganese from Ariamsvlei to Lüderitz by rail. The train departed Ariamsvlei on Thursday 01 August 2019, pulled by two (2) multiple locomotives, 20 wagons loaded at 26 tonnes each, due to current railway infrastructure limitations. The train arrived at the port of Lüderitz on 03 August 2019...
