Future plans include, linking the Sudanese’s and Egyptian rail networks as well as opening up the training courses for participation by Sudanese engineers and technicians - in the programmes of railway engineering, signals, communications, mobile units, operation, marketing, sales, movement and transportation.

The get-together tackled the importance of activating linkage between the two countries through railways.
