Egypt’s Monorail Progress
On 13 August 2019, a consortium made up of Bombardier Transportation, Orascom Construction and Arab Contractors signed an agreement with Egypt’s National Authority for Tunnels. The agreement is for the design and build of two new monorail lines in Egypt. The project is still in the early stages of delivery, however, it is worth noting that the design activities are well advanced allowing construction and manufacturing to start in full speed soon...
