Hyundai Rotem announced on 6 July that it had won a bid for 80 electric trains and 17 electric locomotives, worth about 335.4 billion, ordered by the Tanzania Railway Corporation. The electric car is worth 215.7 billion and the electric locomotive is worth 119.7 billion, to be delivered by 2024.
