TO: HRASA MEMBERS

At the 26th HRASA Board of Directors meeting held at the Train Lodge in Cape Town on 31 October 2009,
Mark Robinson presented the Board with a letter tendering his resignation as Finance Director of HRASA
with immediate effect. The Board has accepted his decision and released him from his duties.

We thank Mark for his services to HRASA over the years and wish him well in the future.

Len Smuts has been appointed as a full Board member and will take on the Finance Portfolio.

Yours sincerely

Railway politics too has its moments. It is indeed sad when people leave, but there Marc(k) will surely remain in the memories of those who had dealings with him. I wish him success in his future railway ventures and do hope we can read an autobiography of the days and lives of the HRASA organisation. Perhaps the History channel may be interested or better still the National Geographic.
