Kenya: auxiliary water tank

One of the auxiliary water tanks for the steam locos, standing in the old steam shed. The tank carries 51,000 litres, which makes it 20,000 litres bigger (and 20 tonnes heavier) than the South African equivalents.

Still in use? Is it roller bearings? Looks like it, but no 3 circles for that!

It is definitely still in use, and I think you're right about roller bearings, but we don't have the 3 circles here as far as I can tell. Actually I've seen very little stock that isn't fitted with roller bearings, so I presume it's the norm.
