There was small floods in the free state earlyler this year, There was a bridge that washed away either near Van reenen or Harrismith, so Im guessing that or, there is not enough locomotives to operate this train. Yea, and It is a fantastic trip, one of my best routes.

Looking at the side shape and headlight style, It could be a E6xx E7xx or E8xx number??

There is also E1101 which is still used on a "road knowlege" train at Danskraal (ladysmith) painted in blue spoornet livery :) still see's regular main line service so to speak if you can call it that .. ;)

They are arriving at Durban Harbour on Friday 21st January 2011, and will be offloaded on Saturday 22nd, so If anyone can sneak through security and get some pics, It would be nice. Not sure from where that will take the locos to, on a truck or rail.
