I got picked up by security at Krugersdorp back in 1997 - the security manager was extremely unpleasant. Her minions had marched me across the tracks to the platform for my "interview", after which she threatened me with fines and arrest if I crossed the tracks to get back to my car.

I didn't realise that the column was out of use. It was always a part of the Cullinan trips to watch the loco being wetered under the column! The station is looking rather derelict at present. Crikey - looks strange to see wagons other than container flats! Definitely a time warp... There is even a short wagon in there.
