Once again usurping Kevin's role as chief arbiter of the photo of the month, this old shot by Nathan Berelowitz of his younger daughter, Eden, has to be a serious contender.

Without a doubt John.

This is a really classic pic - which shows also how nice the human element (disregarded often by the clinical experts) is......

Really good pic. I do like the human interest and the olde world look and feel. I note the steam loco is backed up by two electric units. Why was that?

Steve, I took the picture. Rovos at that time had motive power shortages and would often pose the steam, as they often do today, on the front of the train. Here we have the scenario, and after the shot was taken, off came the steam.
