Recently several questions about the Sishen Saldanha Bay Orex Line were asked by FOTR forum member Robert McDonald, and it seems none of them have been answered yet. Robert has contacted me and asked me to follow up, particularly on the following questions:

1. A track profile diagram Saldanha to Sishen.
2. Photo of motor bike and compartment on 9E's.
3. Current number of trains per day.
4. Ore car GT type CR -? currently assigned.
5. Current axle loading.
6. Trip time one way.
7. Ore car manufacturer
8. Purpose of mysterious "tripod" on idler cars at SB.
9. Machine Room layout of new 15E's.
10. Current locomotive arrangement (placement) in trains.

Let's hope that some of our resident experts can answer some of these queries...
