Chris in Germany asks if anyone can identify the locomotive in this photo taken in Pretoria in 1982.

It is not in Pretoria, it is infront of Johannesburg Station. The one that The late Minister of Transport Honorable B.J.Schoeman was a Fireman on in the Braamfontein Yard. If not mistaken it is a class 16B no. 805.
