Nathan - that was taken in October last year - my first effort after the op then to take pics.
Everything was very vague, so it was interesting to take pics and then only see the results (sortof) once they were on a screen!

What's with the two red lamps on the front buffer beam? Was that a standard SAR practice? It's reminiscent of the British practice of using lamps as headcodes. Normally they were white, but the GWR used red, I believe.

The lamps were just put there, often for decoration, if they were chromed or brass plated, but more than often, just to put them somewhere ather than the bunker boxes. No real reason for this.
