Lucky find!

I have never seen these in the flesh! Would like to though.

Apparently they are very impressive when working at night!

Passing through Ficksburg? I thought the line southwards through Modderpoort was closed?

Hi,

For freight it is, but I heard they send the odd light diesel through to Bloem for maintenance.

Is the station at Modderpoort still there? It had a unique signal cabin. Probably gone by now.
