My thanks to Chris Capewell for the list and for sending me the photos. The first two are by Alan Clothier; the photographer is unknown for the third, but if he sees it and lets us know we will be happy to credit him or remove it.
The list is attached, where the format is a little easier to read, and copied below:

Notes:
1. Appleby supplied early railway equipment, possibly including hand powered cranes.
Grafton also worked in the Sudan and thus may have sold early cranes there.
Ransomes and Rapier almost certainly provided some sluice gate handling cranes for Nile barrage works.
2. Locations
Atbara the main workshops. Five regions with branch workshops in the towns of Kassala, Kosti, Sinar, El-Obeid, Khartoum, Port Sudan, and El-Rahad
3.Abbreviations / Translations
CS Cowans Sheldon, Carlisle.
G Grafton, Vulcan Works, Bedford
R&R Ransome and Rapier, Ipswich.
S&P Stothert and Pitt, Bath
= Jib, = Axles, = Capacity propped or blocked up
4.Thanks
Alan Clothier C.Eng, FIMechE
WTT 1 November 1945
WTT 15 November 1967
5.Miscellanea
Sudan Railways were by 2010 more or less defunct.
The likelihood any of the diesel cranes have had spares ordered is nearly nil.
They are probably all dumped.
