Nice pictures.

Sea and steam train is really a nice combination.

The track looks still very rusty. There haven't been many trains in the last time, I'm right?

The line is still closed, I have heard its going to reopen on monday.

Alan, please see if you can take a photo of the first train to run. Has the diesel run right through to Simons Town then?

I am not in the area during the day so I probably wont see the first train. Not sure if the diesel has gone all the way, they is alot of working in Simons Town station removing all the sand from the tracks.

I would still like to know why the entrances to Sunnycove have been bricked up, wonder if that station is to be closed.

The repairs to the track have also destroyed a beach. The beach at dido valley is no more its just big rocks, very sad to see.

Class 36 was observed shunting a metro set back and forth between Glencairn and Stown station.

All entrances to Sunnycove station got reopened today, seems its all on track for trains tomorrow.
