Here are now some pictures of the German V200 - also known as BR (class) 220.
This diesel locomotive is also property of a club. The club is called Hammer Museum railway - Hammer Railway fans. Hamm is the name of the city in Germany.
Somewhere on this forum ( it is here: http://www.friendsoftherail.com/phpBB2/ ... =72&t=3665 ) was a discussion if it is worth to collect old diesel engines and like you see here, it is.
The German railway has no one of this locomotive in use anymore. Some of these diesels work for private railways but not a lot and we have some in museums.

Superb pictures of a well-kept loco. It looks powerful and chunky even when it's shiny and clean.
