A great photo of a French postal train - link
Incidentally, it seems that the French use the English word "trainspotter", as this picture is found on a forum which describes itself as "Un forum dédié aux "Trainspotters"".

Re: "Voilà une petite photo du TGV postal"
I find it interesting to see how anacronistic the French can be. What is regarded as obsolete and has been discarded elsewhere is still quaintly alive and well in France, albeit perhaps a tad modernised. In many places elsewhere the importance and urgency of mail has been wantonly downgraded and moved onto, often slower, road transport. But, in France, mail obviously still ranks up there, alongside passengers, and they even build a TGV for it! Perhaps it might be that they want to run mail trains down the newer high-speed routes and so simply must have the mail trains running at TGV speeds or else they will create a moving bottleneck.
