Metro in Muizenberg and from above

Post by Andreas Umnus »

On 28.10.2009 I intended to spend some time at the Cape Peninsula. My aim was to take photos of the Metro trains on the Simonstown line because when I went by train the line in 1999 I thought that is a really interesting line and if I ever come back to South Africa that I have to go to that line again to take photos.

The waves at the St. James Walk weren't very high that day but nevertheless it was interesting to see how people managed to pass the place where the wave was so high like on the first picture.

Then an Express from Simonstown came and passed the place were usually the wave are high, but now there was no wave.
Unfortunately the pole of the signal is in the second picture of the same train as on the photo before.
The next picture was taken from the Shark spotters point. I found the place by coincidence when I drove the Boyes Drive.
