Last day of preparations today; tomorrow we have an empty coaching stock move to Naivasha with 3020!

Shop 006 is such a nice shed (especially now that we've cleaned out the inspection pits) that diesels seem to like to come and stand there. Today's interloper is 9304, sharing the shed with 2409

Viewed through the window of 5918, 3020 is using steam from the stationary boiler for lighting up. She will remain in steam now until she returns from Naivasha

A sneak preview. The memorial plate for Kirpal Singh was test-mounted today, then removed until the ceremony on Saturday. For a full picture of the plate, see http://www.friendsoftherail.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=319&t=8291
