3020 was lit up this morning. We spent the day painting, cleaning, lubricating and fixing a few small things. Late in the afternoon we headed out of the works, picked up our water tanker in the loco shed, and coupled on to our load in Platform 1 of Nairobi Station, ready for departure tomorrow morning.

- As usual we found we didn't have the right fittings for the water tank. Kevin uses the all-purpose hammer. Eventually we did find enough bits of pipe and odd metal fittings to pump water from the tank into the tender
