FOTR AGM 31 May 2014
Dear FOTR Member,
Notice of Annual General Meeting, Friends of the Rail Association.
FOTR will hold its 2014 Annual General Meeting at its Hermanstad Station and Depot on Saturday 31st May 2014 at 14:00. You are invited to submit any items for discussion and inclusion in the agenda of this meeting to the secretary by 3rd May 2014.
Attached please find a draft of the Agenda including a Form of Proxy and a Nomination Form for Election to the Board of Directors. If you wish to either appoint a proxy or nominate a member for election to the board then the appropriate form should be completed and returned to the secretary for registration on or before 3rd May 2014.
The final agenda for the meeting will be distributed along with the 2013 financial statements in due course.

This is a reminder that the Annual General Meeting of the Association will be held as planned at 14:30, Saturday 31st May 2014 at FOTR’s Hermanstad depot, Miechaelson Street, Hermanstad, Pretoria.
Minutes of the last AGM are attached. Financials are being prepared by the Treasurer and will be distributed at the meeting.

The minutes are not available yet, but Nathan informs me that the new Board of FOTR is as follows:
CHAIRMAN: NATHAN BERELOWITZ
VICE CHAIRMAN: CHRIS JANISCH
SECRETARY: STEVE APPLETON
TREASURER: CHRIS KOCH
VICE TREASURER: ZANE DE LANGE
PROJECTS MANAGER: LES LABUSCHAGNE
HEALTH AND SAFETY: STEVE SMITH
MARKETING: ARNO VICTOR
INTER CLUB LIASON OFFICER: TONY ATTWELL
CO OPTED MEMBER: GABOR KOVACS
It's good to see Gabor and Les on the Board: both very active and very practical members. There are now five train drivers on the Board (Nathan, Steve S, Tony, Gabor and Les) so hopefully they can drive the club forward. Also good to see Zane, one of FOTR's new generation.
