Campervan on the wrong track?
Alarm bells rang yesterday when it appeared a wayward tourist was driving a campervan along the railway line between Port Chalmers and Dunedin.

Senior Sergeant Mel Aitken, of Dunedin, said a Roseneath resident contacted police about 6.30pm and officers were dispatched to investigate.

Fortunately, it turned out to be a KiwiRail inspection vehicle, which has been checking the lines south of Picton...
