Beaumont Hill's San Gorgonio Pass—gateway to the Sunset Route— is a demanding route for Southern Pacific's locomotives, with extreme grades and weather conditions.

The DVD is 2 hours 30 minutes ling.

The first part covers a crossing of San Gorgonio Pass, with a variety of engines being shown from different lines. There is also a short cab ride. in an SD40T-2 from Colton to Indio.

The second part is a cab ride, also on an SD40T-2, again over the pass.

Nicely produced and of interest to enthusiasts - especially South Pacific fans.
