Class 33-002 , TFR's oldest diesel in service, was observed working a freight on the SLP line. Loco was coupled to three 35's as well.

It would be interesting to see if TFR are now considering using class 33's on this route. If so then perhaps they were testing 33-002 for that specific trip. The week before it was on the Malmesbury line. To my knowledge neither the SLP nor Malmesbury lines see anything other than class 35's.

I saw a 33 on the Malmesbury express one morning. Its the first and only time I have seen this. Unfortunately I did not have my camera on hand.
