Nikon D60. I agree with railway photography it is more about the [b]right time of day[/b], checking for the dreaded poles, wires and trees that will grow out of the locomotive, not cutting of the smoke etc. not so much about the equipment.

I have a little Kodak C613 that I use, its perfect for my usual cemetery and grave photography, weighs very little and can do almost everything I need. I just wish it had more than x3 optical zoom.
