2650 as icy winter grips Pretoria

Very rarely does Pretoria reach a temperature of 0Â°C, but, on the Saturday morning the 25th July 09, the icy grips of winter finally descends of the capital city. I was tasked to light-up 2650 on the night before, and on this morning I used the almost freezing temperature, to captured 2650 awaiting shed-duty, in preparation for yet another Tswane Explorer trip.

Your two "very best" pictures are indeed good ones, Gabor. I think I prefer the first of the two. I was on duty at dawn the following day, and again it was very cold. There's something particularly atmospheric about steam engines in the cold.
