You actually have stars in PWV! I thought they were covered by smog and electric lights :~{

Uhm, You must have been here during a rain storm. This is what the stars look like down here...

Not as bright as here then?
Actually the Cape used to be (once upon a time) as smoggy as could be. Cape Town was often not visible really from the top of the mountain. I also remember the ladies nylon stockings "laddering" from the pollution caused by the power station (now closed) on the foreshore. The same powerstation dropped blobs of glup on the cars - this ruined the paintwork.
