A few shots taken from the afternoon of Saturday 11th December 2010 to the early morning of Sunday 12th. 3664 and 2650 were both in steam on Saturday, as was Rovos Rail's 25NC no 3533. On Sunday morning 2650 departed for Hermanstad to haul FOTR's last Cullinan train of the year.

- 3664 is back in steam on 11th for the first time after a long break for boiler recertification. Her first duty was rather unglamorous - shunting. Here she stands at the eastern end of the site next to damaged Rovos Rail vehicles

- As part of the shunt, the two fireless locos and the molten steel ladle had to be moved. Here we see them standing with 3664 at the eastern end of the site

- If you search this forum, somewhere you'll find a photo of this same injector steam pipe on 3664 being fixed by Robert. This time Steve, Tom and Spikkels were doing the honours

- A shunt move the previous day by 3664 extricated SANRASM's old brake van no 2757 and placed it on the pit where it will be made travelworthy ready to be hauled to Hermanstad on 16th December for scrapping. Sad, but this wooden-bodied vehicle is in appalling condition
