There are plans to cosmetically restore these two diesels, and perhaps even get one working to use a a shunter for the museum.

Lovely little engines - I especially like the retro type steam cab on 3205!

Funnily enough I had Sunday lunch in a new restaurant yesterday and the gatekeeper's hut was a diesel cab! Next time I go I'll take my camera get a picture of it.

Re: Nairobi Railway Museum: diesels
Today Jane and I went for lunch at the Talisman restaurant in the posh Karen suburb of Nairobi. As you can imagine, spending the afternoon lazing under old trees in the beautiful garden of an upmarket restaurant whilst eating fine food was a great sacrifice for us, but one that we bore willingly in order to be able to provide to the FOTR forum these two photos of a defunct class 32 cab being used as a gatekeeper's hut...
Note that the cab is slightly different to the one on the class 32 in the museum. Maybe they were modified during the course of their career?
