It plots bits of the history of 2828 over many years - much detail was provided by Richard Niven, the last fireman to work this engine - there is also a link to a video clip of 2828 on it's last active run on 12 May 1992.

Surely those connecting rods can be refitted to the loco, before the rods disappear? any eager Capetonian willing . . . ?
