A bottle of champagne seemed appropriate in the circumstances, and we certainly weren't going to waste it by smashing it on the loco. The lady in the middle is the bride-to-be for Saturday's wedding. The bulk of 5918 looms behind her.

Excellent! Was a lot of work to get it steaming, or was it oin relatively good nick?

Relatively good nick, actually, following all the restoration that was done a few years ago.
