We decided to catch a train to get us up to Paris from the south. This turned out to be a most pleasant experience. Boarding at Cahors, we used a local service to Brive where we joined a mainline train through to the capital. This is not a TGV line but we nevertheless cruised at around 150km/h. Arrival in Paris St Austerlitz was however 30 mins late for the 4 hour journey.
Here we see some scenes from the trip.

Re: French scenes
Austerlitz may not be the greatest station in Paris but if your in that city and have the time it really is worth a visit if only to see that wonderful steel and glass work. Not quite a St Pancras but still worth a visit'
Really nice photos.
Cheers Bernard
