More Rovos Rail electric scenes

Photos of Southern African Electric Motive Power! Photos should be 800x600 pixels, maximum size 130K. More Rovos Rail electric scenes

Post by John Ashworth »

Nathan wrote:Different faces. The locomotive depot at Rovos Rail has gone much quieter, now that the steam locomotives are gradually being replaced by electric traction. The various colour schemes of the privately purchased class 5E1 units make interesting comparisons from then to now.

I also thought about that , but from Kimberely you have your AC Loco's taking over. Rovos should have aquired a few 14E's then they would have been able to go anywhere under the wires in SA.
