A few weeks ago the spare wheels for the Class 59, which were clearly marked with white paint, disappeared from their normal resting place. After some detective work, Maurice discovered where they were alleged to be. Today David Gitundu and I went to verify with our own eyes (and camera).

Re: Class 59 wheels go walkabout
Originally they were just sitting on a grass verge in the works. Now they are inside the wheel shop, which I suppose is a natural place to find wheels, but our fear is always that someone will scrap them without realising how valuable they are so we hope to get them back into our shed as soon as possible.
