Country Station + Bridge + Signal Box + Signals

Post by Kevin Wilson-Smith »

After issuing engines for a while Micromodels decided to issue some line side accessories to go with the various trains.

The country station was one of the first kits issued in 1949 at a cost of 1/8p.

This is reissued in 1952 at 2/0p. Slightly more expensive than the normal range this was due to the fact that the pack contained seven colour cards, instead of the six that had been issued up to now.

Two cards make up the signal cabin, three cards the station building and canopies, one card the pedestrian bridge, and one card the remaining open platform area. Fencing, station name boards and signals are all included amongst the various cards.
