- The rail tools and general spades and fork stuff was hauled out the big shed and a yellow identification band was painted on. The tools have the area masked off and ready to be painted.

It was all done in a day. Just give up one Sunday or day and come down to the site and by putting the mind to it and getting on with it, a lot can and will be accomplished. Just to second what Nathan says, if you look at these pictures you'll see that none of these routine tasks involve any specialised knowledge of railways. They're the sort of tasks that can be done by anybody who does a bit of gardening and DIY in their own homes.
