My word. Sounds almost impossible.

In my youth - when I was younger and there were tons less tube stations, I tried to do all the tube stations on a day. Failed miserably. Got tired and dirty and got cured of the tubes for a couple of days.

I realize now that part of the key is to travel overground between certain sections, but never even thought of this then. It is is some cases shorter to move between station this way rather then change on the system. It is quicker to walk between Leicester Square and Covent Gardens for example.

I also guess nowadays you get a computer to assist you with planning the optimal route!
