Paddock and Port Shepstone

Does anyone have any recent photos of the steam locos (NGG16?) stored at Paddock and Port Shepstone?

Nope - not me. But I do have reps who travel there (Port Shepstone), so I will task them to take their cameras and go hunting.

Paddock is a station on the line towards Harding. The locos are stored in an enclosure near the station called "Classens Factory Siding".

I visited the station and yard at Port Shepstone on 15th April 2015 and did not see any steam locomotives. There was a diesel and a shunters' wagon on the 3'6" in the platform. I did see inoperable steam locos , together with several carriages, at Paddock in a siding and will try to post some photos ASAP. There was also a small Hunslett diesel loco and one small open bogie carriage at Paddock being used to run the "Hamba Wahelie Express" between Paddock station and Plains loop - about 8 kms. I rode the loco from Paddock to Plains and back - the service operates in conjunction with the Gorgez View Restaurant/Coffee Shop/Resort but is currently not running pending repairs to the locomotive
