This is 2850 having been temporarily dragged out from our "scrap line" (as Saturday's shunter insisted on calling it) so that we could bring out two unrestored suburban coaches which have composite brake blocks on them. We're going to transfer the brake assemblies from these coaches onto two of our restored coaches which still have cast iron brake shoes. The latter are virtually unobtainable these days and we only have a handful of spares left.
