Bring along your Picnic Baskets/ Cooler Bags, Blankets, Costumes, Fishing Rods or Hiking Boots,
Binoculars & cameras and an umbrella
Whatever you choose to do we will ensure you have a Fun day.
Spend the day relaxing at the famous NGWANGWANA river “ The River arises at the Bushmansnek in Underberg.
The river is named after the Pied Starlings which nest in abundance in its banks. "Gwee-gwees", but the old Zulu name according to original documents is NGWANGWA, The river is the NGWANGWANA.” – Tod Collins

You will be able to spend some 3- 4 hours amongst the many aloes that cover the hills and experience the fresh unpolluted air of rural Africa. The surrounding hills are beckoning those of you who wish to climb them and enjoy the view of hill after hill after hill. Your locomotive and coaches will be banked waiting with you for the return journey to Creighton.
Steam train drivers will be in attendance to show you the real live steam engine and how it works.
