10 C30ACMi were delivered to Cameroon in Q1 2018.
I think that these may be a bit lighter than the similar units supplied to Angola and Mozambique.
Differ to the Transnet 43 Class, UGL (Australian) bogies, and light weight traction motors, Angola/Moz locos 9 tonnes lighter.
The Grindrod Phase 4 that were rejected by Camrail came in at 125.5 tonnes, against a requirement of 114 tonnes. The C30ACMi were the replacement for the cancelled Grindrod order. Grindrod locos were purchased by GenRail at the liquidation auction, and re-gauged for use on the TAZARA.
