Today I received the permission letter from Rooiwal for Saturday, so we are legal!
On Sunday I did a short reccie and have planned the runpasts. We will be working with At Labuschagne again, and will provide Steve S as shunter. At will get operating to put us in the siding at Pyramid and sometime after 12 I will take him up there to pilot us in. Web will drop off the longer and tankers around the back of the conveyer, as befiore, then couple up to 4 trucks and push them down a siding, where we will wait for the tourgroup. Does anyone know when they are arriving, it is important that they are not later than 2 otherwise the sun runs out quickly. We will need to bring the ladders from CP as some of the runpast areas are squashed and height will be needed. The bar cannot expect to be busy if the pax are not on the train and at Rooiwal they will be busy photographing. Perhaps Kobus can do a mobile drinks service(non-alcoholic) during the proceedings.
