Suspended from the ceiling of a fish and chip shop, Doug's Fish Fries, in Skaneateles, New York State. 0 or 1 gauge? It has three different trains each consisting of a loco and about three cars, two of them in sidings at any one time. The food was pretty good too!

Where you there, John?
It looks neat, but the effort that must have gone into shaping the wood runs underneath the tracks must have been immense.
I'm trying think of what I would have used as a substitute, that could be bent into shape?

Yes, I'm in the USA at the moment. I have a 3-month sabbatical in Indiana but I was visiting friends in Skaneateles, in upstate New York, last week. I took Amtrak, of course, to get there. The fish and chip shop model railway is very simple in layout but, as you say, it took a lot of work to hang it up there on the ceiling.

Cool !!!!
Enjoy your time there.... and buy plenty of N Gauge stuff to add to your collection.
I recently had surgery that didn't turn out well, but it's been fixed and getting better, so I'll be getting back to my layout. There have been a number of weeks since I was able to crawl into my control circle.
John, you and your family have great vacation.
