Friends of Atlantic Rail, Stefan Andrzejewski (chairman) and his son Chris paid a brief visit to Capital Park to visit FotR and Rovos Rail , in an arranged visit on Saturday - 30th March 2013.

Not very often do visits like this happen, and it is always a pleasure to host fellow active steam enthusiasts from around the countryside.
Stefan, contacted me more than a week earlier, and asked if they could visit us at FotR and if I could arrange a walk-about through Rovos Rails' loco depot and yard. Having gained permission from Connie at Rovos Rail and informing Nathan, the visit was "on"!

A big thank you to Gabor Kovacs for showing us around on Saturday. It was most interesting and an eye opener. We wish you well and many ours of work between FoAR and FoTR.

Just a quick additional note:

I would like to express my thanks to Connie from Rovos Rail, for granting permission to allow Stefan, Chris and myself, to allow me to guide and walk through Rovos Rail's locom depot and yard with our guest from Friends of Atlantic Rail!
Our guests were very please, and express their thanks for the permission granted!
