What can be done to cut the high rate of suicides on our transport system?
THERE are 300 deaths a year on the railways...
Of those at least 70 per cent (210) are believed to be suicides, a significant proportion of about 1,700 incidents a month on the railways involving people with mental health problems.
It is estimated suicides cost Network Rail £15million a year...
