North York Moors Railway celebrates 40th anniversary with the help of teddy bears

A HERITAGE railway is about to swap tickets for cuddly toys.

The North York Moors Railway is holding its own week-long version of a teddy bears' picnic to coincide with the half term holiday.

From May 25 to June 2 children taking their teddy bear along for a trip will not have to buy a ticket, as they will travel free with a fare-paying adult as part of the railway’s 40th birthday celebrations...
