Naked models and trainspotters – a shattered illusion

And then there are all the little figures you can buy to populate your [model railway] town – this is where the odd part comes in.

Yes you get all the normal poses of people sitting at bus stops, or people on bikes, and the more traditional Morris Dancers to add a bit of fun to the set.

But, the ones that stood out were all the naked characters getting up to all sorts of x-rated stuff that you wouldn’t expect to find in a model town...

Mind you there was also a cow riding a bike and a chicken driving a tractor so I suppose anything goes.

John,

I laughed at this. When all my technical issues ( I went too electronic too soon, without knowing any electronics ), are sorted, I'm going into scenery and people with a passion.
This article appeals to me because my plan was to always have little scenarios that people have to really look at to see. One of the scenes I plan to have is a Karoo scene behind a bush that has a farmer -- I have already bought the pack of N scale sheep that will be involved....

Just for the LOLs....

Yes, I think some of the most memorable model railways that I have seen are not remembered for their trackwork or locos or complex operations but for all the little scenes away from the track.
